On https://souleater.fandom.com/wiki/Little_Ogre it says that the black room is a reference to the Red Room in David Lynch's television series Twin Peaks but wouldn't Little Ogre be a potential reference to Igor and the Velvet Room from Persona as well especially with Little Ogres appearance?
What's on your mind?

Hello everyone!
Earlier today, Fandom released a minor design update to the VisualEditor, both the Visual Mode and the Source Mode (aka 2017 editor), to help simplify it and make it more intuitive. I recommend reading this blog for detailed information, but here are the short details.
Renamed some of the tools (e.g. "paragraph" is now "normal text")
Shuffled some icons around (e.g. the back and forward arrow buttons are now located on the far left rather than the middle)
Hid some less-essential tools from view to make the initial editor view less overwhelming in all its glory (the tools are still accessible in dropdown menus)
For the 2017 source mode: we removed the options available from the menu icon (those three stacked horizontal bars) -- If you want those back, you can customize your toolbar to access them from there)
For the 2017 source mode: we used the menu icon to replace the gear icon
The blog has some helpful pictures as well. Let me know if you have any comments, concerns, or constructive feedback! Happy editing! :D
Just Updated
Hi guys! Wanted to quickly inform you about notifications being wonky again. They're apparently not ready for the new year either.
Yesterday, older notifications were missing and users were unable to click on them. Fortunately, new notifications are now going through. The bell icon is showing the wrong count until user gets a new notifications. Users still have no access to notifications that happened during the incident plus older notifications until a complete fix (which is being worked on). "Mark all as read" is still be wonky as well.
Thank you again for your patience as we look into this issue. With that being said, since I cannot see older messages from my holiday break, I'm afraid I am missing some so feel free to ping me again if I have not responded to your message! I will also be going through my message walls again to see if I missed any pokes there.
As always, feel free to reach out on Discord (vector_sigma) if needed since I'm permanently online :) Hope you guys had a great holiday season!
Hi guys! Just wanted to give you all a quick update.
As some of you may have learned, notifications were broken from approximately 5 pm EST to 5 am earlier today. Web-notifications weren't be sent out properly, and then they weren't being removed afterwards. I'm happy to say that the issue is now resolved ^^ Thank you for your patience.
If any of you pinged me last night, feel free to poke me again! I'll be going through my message walls and checking manually. I was a bit busy extinguishing fires in Community Central last night (and it's finals week for me, rip).
As always, feel free to reach out on Discord (vector_sigma) if needed since I'm permanently online :)
Hi guys! Got another short update for you guys.
The Thanks extension is now available for all wikis after several months of testing. You may have seen this on other wikis, but this will allow users to "thank" individual edits by other users by clicking the (thank) button next to each individual edit. Users will receive a notification that you thanked their edit. It's basically a quick way to provide encouragement for edits.
You can disable these notifications in your preferences. Admins can enable/disable the extension on the Admin Dashboard, just like message walls and blogs. You can view all the logs for Thanks under Special:Log/thanks.
Hello everyone!
I'm sure most of you have noticed the little site notice appearing on the wiki about the MediaWiki 1.39 update. I just wanted to give a little bit more information about it.
What's being updated? Mostly coding underneath the hood. There will be no major design changes. Consider it like replacing the battery of a car - the car will still be the same outwardly, but it just needs some updates underneath.
All Fandom wikis will be updating to MediaWiki 1.39 in the coming month. I don't have an exact timeline at this moment, but expect it to happen in mid-March or April. During the migration to 1.39, the wikis will be set in read-only mode. It shouldn't take more than 30 minutes (major wikis could need more hours). One week before migration, a banner will appear on communities to let you know the migration is scheduled. For one week after the migration, a similar banner to let users know the community is now on the new version.
Most importantly, if you experience any bugs after the move, please either report them to the admins (who will then forward them to me) or directly to me either on my message wall or Discord. We've done our best to squash and take note of any bugs in our testing phase, but any additional pokes would be greatly appreciated!
Please check out the help page on Community Central for a changelog and further information. ^^
Ok, so means I'm a rookie at Soul Eaterpedia doesn't mean that I'm a fandom rookie- this can just be the other fandoms that I'm in, but most of the character images that I see are typically either shots from the Manga (eg. Maka, Kid, Crona), or the Anime (Liz, Patty). How come transparent/white background JPG or PNG images aren't used on this wiki often? Just wondering.
- Implementing color-coded infoboxes for characters of various races. Right now, I have yet to figure out how to do so now. We once had this but the portable infobox migration has robbed me of the method I formerly used.
- More specific information on info-boxes. With the help of art books, guidebooks, and other media, there's enough justification to add such things to the infoboxes.
- Once the Perfect Edition omnibus for Soul Eater releases, this wiki will use it's updated terminology whenever we encounter such! I already pre-ordered some of the editions!
- How do you feel about infoboxes's current profile pictures. I have experimented this myself over the past year. Do you prefer anime or manga pictures? Should we include both?
- How do we go about addressing character's power and abilities? Our current formatting has a major issue of causing text to act strangely when there's too much information. Death and Maka's page suffers from this especially. I have ideas on how to address it.
- What're some changes you wish to see and why? And perhaps how?
- The Deal Arc will be worked to merge with different arcs and ridded of altogether as I am working to limit the amount of conjecture arcs depending on where it fits best.
- For a more cleaner appearance, no longer is it necessary to separate Soul Eater and Soul Eater NOT! arcs on character pages.
- I will be removing the anime-only arcs, Eibon Investigation Arc and Arachnophobia vs DWMA Arc. They will be reworked into Internal Investigation Arc,Operation Capture Baba Yaga Castle Arc, and the newly to-be-created Kishin Battle Arc.
- War on the Moon Arc and War on the Moon II Arc will be combined, though the pages will be separated under headings of part one and two to support the titling.
- Monotone Princess will be receiving it's own "arc page" and treated as an anime-only story arc much like how the Kishin Battle arc will be, as it will be the only anime-only story arc since I cannot justify adding it to the Operation Capture Baba Yaga Castle arc.
- Some characters will have the newly made Chotto Arc on their page when I get around to making the page.
- And finally, some audio dramas may receive their own "arc page".
Has anyone noticed that the page for "Soul Evans/Relationships" has been deleted?
Is there a way we can bring that back, as there was useful information on that page?

- No more summaries! Already we have to go through various summaries for the episodes, chapters, character, etc! Doing an entire arc? Too much! Instead, we'll only indicate what chapter/episodes are contained in a section (Whereas it was in the infobox before) and let the Episode/Chapter page do the rest of the talking!
- Make sure trivia is not regurgitating information on a specific episode page!
- I might rid of the anime/manga difference section altogether. We already have a Differences in the Soul Eater media page and the chapter/episode pages also do this. The point is to reduce the idea of being redundant and make pages easier to follow and easier to edit as editors! Less work on us!
- Manga Continuity- The manga continuity is our main canon continuity! This includes the mangas of Soul Eater and Soul Eater NOT! as well as the drama CDs!!!
- Anime Continuity- Our anime continuity will focus only on the Soul Eater anime and Montone Princess since apparently, it does fit within the anime and follows it's rules!
- NOT! Anime Continuity - This applies to the anime of Soul Eater NOT! articles. This is because it doesn't quite fit in either of the continuities.
- Unknown Arts
- Spiritual Arts
- Special Arts
- Special Magic
- Special Form
- Tricks
- Spells (This is used in the manga)
- Deathblow This is the equivalent to the section "Powers and Abilities"
- When referring to variants, it's called a "Power Up" instead.
- Special Weapon (Referring to Weapon Forms)
