Invitation 2 (招待状2, Jōtaijō 2) is the ninth chapter of the manga Soul Eater Not!. This chapter was initially released in serialized form. Upon its collection in Volume 2, it was combined with "I'm Tight All Over!" and referred to in that volume as Chapter 9, "I'm Tight All Over!" The completed Chapter 9 was compiled in July 2012 with the release of Volume 2, and it was adapted as part of Episode 5, "Invitation Fighting!"
Realizing Jacqueline O'Lantern Dupré's interest in Kim Diehl, Tsugumi Harudori decides to help her in making the two partners.

In their bedroom, Tsugumi Harudori is looking at Anya Hepburn's tanuki statue, noticing how much it resembles Kim Diehl. While Meme Tatane agrees with Tsugumi's statement, but Anya worries that Kim would kill her if she heard such a thing.
Later, Tsugumi approaches Jacqueline O'Lantern Dupré with the prospect of an affinity division courtesy of Kana Altair. Meme tells Jacqueline that even if it turns out that their not compatible, Jacqueline still keep trying to which Jacqueline responds that it was an awfully "sincere" thing to say. Kana and Anya have their usual bit, afterwards Jacqueline steps to the plate and draws her card, thinking about the person she wants most as Kana commands. She pulls The Lovers card and Kana gives a thumbs up, assuring that the pairing is a sure thing.
Overhearing this Tarot revelation, Eternal Feather arrives to announce she has "the perfect strategy to conquer Kim-san!"
Manga and Anime Differences[]
- In Episode 5, Tsugumi refers to Anya's tanuki statue as Josephine, as it was named in Episode 2. In the manga, Anya's tanuki statue is never named.
