Power
- Anime

Crona's soul swelling.
Crona is a remarkably dangerous opponent, capable of defeating Maka Albarn partnered up with the demon scythe, Soul Eater[4] and was able to withstand the punishing power of Death the Kid's assault.[5] Lord Death held his power in considerable esteem, opting out to making them an ally and remarking they needed someone of his caliber in the academy for dealing with future threats.[6]
However, despite their power, Crona was no match for the likes of Giriko, who rivaled a death scythe in combat.[7] Furthermore, Crona was also in no league with the likes of Professor Stein partnered up with Death Scythe (Spirit Albarn).[8]

Trivia

Michal Solusod's tweet on masculine pronouns usage for Crona.
- While official translation from FUNimation used male pronouns, Micah Solusod (voice actor for Soul Eater) stated the usage of male pronouns was for gender-neutral reasons, using "he" as in referring to "mankind" instead of "it", in which felt too demeaning. In addition to this, FUnimation's usage of masculine pronouns is not to be taken as a official assigning of Crona's definitive sex.[10][11][12]
