The exact nature of a Demon is entirely unknown and varies with each individual demon, though most encountered within the series are malevolent in nature. Because of this, there's certain, powerful attacks like that of the Great Traditional Techniques of the Scythe-Meister and the Anti-Demon Wavelength capable of downing these beings because of their malevolent nature.[1]
