A Demon Sword (悪魔の剣,Akuma no ken, lit. Sword of the Devil), also referred to mostly as a "seed of a kishin", are the polar opposite of the Death Scythe, created only from over-hunting of pure human souls from a demon weapon.[1] Individuals who're Demon Swords are only one step away from becoming a Kishin.
History
Long ago, meisters and weapons who served under Death himself were collecting souls, much like how DWMA currently does. During a great battle, a meister was so terrified of death he began secretly feeding his weapon pure human souls with the hope of attaining more powerful for himself. He inadvertingly created a Demon Sword and, eventually, a Kishin.[2]
