Hand-to-hand combat (体術(たいじゆつ), Taijutsu) is a physical confrontation between one or more parties and does not involve ranged weapon.[1][2]
Capable users of hand-to-hand combat are able to utilize punches, kicks, elbows, knees, and grappling techniques to physically assault an opponent. Despite the naming, it may also include users of melee weapons.[3]
