Internal investigators are specialized investigators tasked with formal inquiries and incidents within an organization. Among their responsibilities includes investigations within suspicions to law-breaking and misconduct such as treason. Death Weapon Meister Academy employs internal investigators; former Joe Buttataki served in the role until his death, usually called "Whack-A-Mole" due to his amazing deductive abilities in finding traitors and his highly acute soul perception abilities supporting his abilities.
