Mystical swords[2] are animated, sentient beings capable of transforming themselves into a weapon.[1] The only known mystical sword served as inspiration for the creation of the human-based race, the demon weapons.[3]
Overview[]
With what is observed from Excalibur, these beings appear as simple, anthropomorphic creatures. Regarding height, these beings aren't much taller than what can be expected of a small child. These beings also feature prominent upturned snouts and small white bodies which display slender limbs and feet akin to those of a rabbit. They also have large, round eyes with completely black irises and pupils. Although they are capable of speech, they appear to lack mouths.[1]

Magic (魔力, Maryoku): Mystical swords possess a incredible amount of magical power, which is utilized by their weapon transformation. As witnessed by Excalibur, swords appear to be significantly more powerful then that of ordinary demon weapons and can be counted as the most powerful type of weapon.[1]
Transformation (変身, Henshin): Swords are capable of transforming themselves at will similar to that of a demon weapon.[1]
