What must be verifiable?[]

The following information in the Soul Eater wiki mainspace must be verifable:

  • Articles
  • Lists
  • Captions
  • Quotations

Reliable sources[]

The world source in the wikia has 3 meanings:

  1. The type of work
  2. The creator of wok
  3. the publisher of the work.

Any of these 3 factors affect reliaiability. Base articles on reliable, third-party, published sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy If at all possible. Source material must have been published, in which means this information has been made available to the public in some form. Unpublished sources are not reliable and is not wanted.

The best sources tend to have a professional stature in place for checking facts among other things. The greater the degree of scrutiny given, the better the source is.

In some cases, there's also the use of material from reliable, non-academic sources. For the Soul Eater wikia, this would most likely be:

  • magazines (interviews)
  • News
  • Twitter
