What is the proper classification for Gopher? He is not human, that's for sure. He could be classified as a meister, right? In light of the fact that he has a strong soul. Another thing to note is that Noah called him a tool--a demon tool, most likely--given the form of a body. Could this be an entirely new classification? LLight 19:27, October 3, 2009 (UTC)
- Currently I'd most likely agree that this is indeed an entirely new classification, however, without further clarification it's impossible at this point to define exactally what he is. Concerning the options you have given; he is not a meister as that term spefically denotes those who wield a demon weapon, for example Mifune has an extremely strong soul but as he only wields a normal weapon, we just class him as human. It is possible that he is a humanoid demon tool, similar to Artifact Soldier Morubi, only far more advanced but again more information is needed to provide confirmation. Well, in a French online traduction of Soul Eater, when Maka injures Gopher with the Witch Hunter (Chapter 65), he says, talking about himself : "The beautiful body Noah-sama created, damaged by this dirty little female monkey ?" (sorry for the literal traduction), so he might be a humanoid human-looking tool, golem, robot or something else like this. It would also explain Gopher's devotion to Noah, by being one of his creation. Jack O Lantern 21:14, April 29, 2010 (UTC)
In the italian version, "Greed" Noah says to him something like: "A tool is not allowed to show such things like emotion" referring to his behavior during the battle against Maka. The part about being made by Noah there's too. Could he be some kind of "mancrafted"-weapon? Some kind of meister\weapon like Maka in the anime?
P.s.: I'm sorry for the eventual grammar error :-) An Italian
